2017 BOLT HQ, Autodesk, Pier 9, CA
Lead Designer, Project Manager. Design and built large public art ‘Rust Screen’, and shipping container cafe for BOLT head quarters in San Francisco. Bid and won the job, travelled to San Francisco and worked alongside Autodesk, learning their new technologies and machines to fabricate and design projects for BOLT, an investment capital company. Managed and spearheaded the project from idea to fabrication to installation.
Summer 2017 World Fellowship Center, NH
Chair Workshop Instructor. Taught the basics of woodworking from selecting lumber, cutting and various means of joining to a mixed age group of students from 9 -70 years old. Lectured on the design process, from ideation to prototyping to manufacturing and assisted students in construction of my own design ‘Hands to Work’ a DIY shaker chair.
2015-2016 Cranbrook Academy of Art, MI
Studio Manager of 3D Design Department. Managed a studio of 18 working artists and designers which entailed scheduling and running weekly critiques, organizing and providing texts and research for academic reading group on contemporary and historic design and art, and managed the organization and up-keep of the studio facilities.
Summer 2015 Penland School of Craft, NC
Assistant Metal Furniture Instructor. Assisted teaching an introduction to metal furniture course. Designed the course and assignments, led critiques, and worked one-on-one with students teaching MIG and TIG welding, sheet metal fabrication and forming metal with a hydraulic press. Course also included lectures compiled by myself on the history of craft furniture design.
2012-2014 Lagomorph Design, Chicago
Director of Metal Shop, Woodworker and Production Manager: Responsibilities included organizing and running the metal shop, engineering furniture pieces from client specs for fabrication, material procurement, actually fabricating and finishing pieces and working with manufacturing to fabricate and finish pieces. Worked closely with clients from initial meetings through final installation.
2012-2016 Vivian Beer Studio Works, NH
Summer Artist Assistant. Assisted Artist Vivian beer in research, fabrication, concept and design of furniture and large scale public art works made from steel, stainless, aluminum and cement. Also responsible for organizing and instructing summer interns that worked in the studio.
Winter 2014 Desert Design Lab, Southwest US
Artist Assistant and Collaborator. Funded by the Mineck Foundation, I assisted and collaborated with Vivian Beer on a two month long RV road trip and ‘Design Lab’ throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. I was in charge of research of geological area and organized the schedules of visiting artists, helped facilitate collaborative workshops including rubber casting desert textures and 3D scanning models. Also cooked and organized elaborate outdoor dinners in the desert and assisted in video and photo documentation.

Artist Assistant. Assisted in the production of drawings and sculptures for museum exhibition, made detailed drawings of previous work for cataloging purposes, and assisted in the maintenance of the house and workshops areas.
